 recovery

At Open Dialogue we hold a belief that recovery is a journey, not necessarily a prescribed destination.

We work on a premise that as humans, life throws us experiences that we need to recover from, and this does not just pertain to mental illness. We understand an essential part of recovery is to live, function and enjoy life even, if we are still experiencing symptoms of mental ill health.

There is a strong evidence base that reducing pressure and expectations on ourselves to recover can lead to a better trajectory for recovery.
