Adal is a massage therapist, flexologist, and health & wellness professional. Throughout his life, he has maintained a deep connection with movement and bodily expression. Adal has also a professional background as a dancer in his native country, Uruguay, South America.

He completed his degree studies in contemporary dance at the National Dance School of Uruguay, with a clear emphasis on an integral and holistic approach to the body, incorporating elements from yoga, martial arts such as Aikido, and somatic movement techniques such as Alexander and Feldenkrais.
He has been an experienced yoga practitioner for five years, and is formally trained in Thai Massage Therapy. For the past three years, he has worked professionally as a Thai massage therapist, having undertaken various courses in both Uruguay and Australia.

As a bodyworker and massage therapist, he enjoys engaging in activities that facilitate a deeper connection with the body, which he views as a means of experiencing the present moment and deriving joy from life. His passion for movement extends beyond dance; he is committed to helping individuals reconnect with their bodies, fostering well-being and joy.

For Adal, each session with a patient is understood as a therapeutic space, an opportunity to connect with the present and the well-being of the body. In his therapeutic spaces, Adal focuses on proprioception, body awareness and the expansion of pleasurable bodily experiences, viewing the session as a space co-created by the patient and himself.

As a queer individual, Adal places a high priority on ensuring that his therapeutic spaces are safe, respectful, and rooted in mutual listening. Professionally trained as a Sex Educator in Uruguay and with experience in the educational field, he emphasizes trust in his therapeutic approach, fostering emotional support and attentive listening for his patients.

The body, in its potential, also holds traumas and tensions that manifest physically. With Thai Massage, the aim is to create a space for healing and the restoration of the body’s energetic flow, not only through relaxation and the release of tensions but also through conscious work with breath and the expansion of body awareness.
